第十七单元 您想买点儿什么？
导 读
本课中我们要先学两段在商店购物的对话，看看爱丽丝是如何选到一件喜欢的衬衣的，女生不要急着想象那件衬衣的款式，咱们先学会相应的表达；短文讲的是女士们抢购打折的鞋的故事，very interesting；我们都应该知道读日期时日子前面要用序数词，那么序数词还有别的用法吗？这一课的语法会为你讲解清楚。

对话一 您想买什么衣服？
艾丽丝在一家大百货商店，她想买一件衬衣，售货员正在接待她。
售货员：下午好，夫人。您想买点什么衣服？
艾丽丝：请把那件衬衣给我看看。
售货员：哪一件，夫人？
艾丽丝：第三个货架上那件绿色的，就在蓝袜子旁边。
售货员：给您。
艾丽丝：这是多少号的？
售货员：6号
艾丽丝：我就穿6号，可这件看上去小了点儿，可以试一试吗？
售货员：当然可以，试衣室在那边，你的右侧。
对话二 这件合适吗？
艾丽丝走进试衣室，几分钟后，她穿着绿色衬衣走了出来。
售货员：合适吗？
艾丽丝：我觉得有点紧，我能试试8号的吗？
售货员：对不起，8号没有绿色的，那件黄色的怎么样吗？
艾丽丝：行，看着挺漂亮的，我试一下。这个颜色我也喜欢。（艾丽丝穿上了黄色的衬衣）
艾丽丝：行，真不错。多少钱？
售货员：128元。
艾丽丝：不打折吗？
售货员：对不起，不打折。
艾丽丝：好，就要这件吧。
短文 我不要袋子
一家大商店正在开展鞋子和靴子的春季大甩卖。今天是大甩卖的第一天，商店里挤满了抢购鞋的女士们。因为商店想清库以进新货，所以鞋子和靴子的价格比正常低得多，式样和颜色也是各样都有。
收款员忙得不亦乐乎，他们忙着收钱，同时给顾客拿袋子好装新鞋。格林太太手里拿着钱，走到一个收款员那里说：“我不要袋子，谢谢，新鞋我已穿上了”。收款员客气的问：“那你不需要袋子装旧鞋吗？”格林太太俏皮地说：“我已把旧鞋卖给别人了”。

Dialogue A
1. The salesperson is helping her.
salesperson 售货员（避免提及性别的说法）
saleswoman女售货员 salesgirl 售货小姐salesman 男售货员/业务员 (not shop assistant)
2. It’s size 6.
六号 与中文顺序相反，英语先说“号”再说“六”。再如：
Model ABI ABI型；Class 2, Grade 2001 2001级2班；Page 100 第100页
3. But it looks small.
looks是第三人称单数形式，是系动词。
Dialogue B
1. Alice goes into the fitting room.
into 是介词（prep.）可以和动词搭配构成词组，反义词是out。
eg. walk into/out of the hall步入/走出大厅
come into/out of the garden到花园里来/从花园里走出来
put it into the file 把它归档
2. How does it fit? 意同Does it fit? 再如：
How do you like it? 意同Do you like it?
征求别人对某事物的advice还可以说成What do you think of it? 或者Is it all right? 或者How do you feel about…?
如果一个事物很适合你，可以说It fits me well. 或It suits me fine.
6. I don’t have a green one in size 6.
注意介词in 的用法。再如：
Please answer my questions in German.请用德语回答我的问题。
Pay attention to the guy in red. 注意那个穿红衣服的小伙子。
7. I’ll take it. 这里的take是buy“买”的意思。
Passage
1. sale 是n.名词“出售”，用时常有“降价抛售”的意思。
eg. spring sale 春季大甩卖 yard sale 楼前大甩卖 on sale 大减价
与“买、卖”有关的词： 买 buy — bought — bought 购买purchase v./n.（所购买的商品） 卖sell — sold — sold
2. There are all kinds of shoes and boots in a variety of colors, …
all kinds of 是“各种各样的”，不要翻译成“全部种类的”。
in a variety of colors 注意介词in 的用法。a variety of“各种各样的”还可以说成varieties of。相同变化的还有：a lot of , lots of 许多 a great number of, great numbers of大量的
3. …and the prices are much lower than usual,
形容词、副词的比较级前面加上much、even、still (更加)，a (little) bit (一点)儿等副词可以细化比较的程度。
eg. Tom is the tallest of the three guys. He is a little taller than Jim, but much taller than Tim. 汤姆在这三个小伙子里个儿最高。他比吉姆高一点儿，比蒂姆高很多。
eg. Wearing the silk blouse, she comes out of the fitting room.
You’d better take more warm clothes with you. It’s very cold in the Northeast.
She put on the new coat then went into the sitting room wearing it.

1 Suppose you are a salesperson of a clothing (服装) store.
A Russian(俄罗斯) clothing wholesaler(批发商) who speaks English comes to see if she can buy something. This is a good chance(机会) both for your English and your pocket(口袋). What would you say to her? Please make a dialogue between you and her.
2 Fill in the blanks with proper form of the given word in the bracket.
